The Annual See Jane Run 1/2 Marathon and 5K saw beautiful weather today as participants ran through Gasworks park and along the waterfront. Each finisher received a medal claiming they "Ran For Chocolate", an engraved champagne glass, and chocolate from See’s Candies!
After putting in a few months of training I felt substantially better for this 5K than I did during my last one back in March. Even though I ran it alone without my father to pace me I still ran one of my best times since high school which was quite the celebratory news at my house.
